Liz Otte Brownlee ’09 and Ruth Turner are co-teaching a class called Community, Environment and Politic. In this course, the students are doing a service learning project for Oak Heritage Conservancy, creating podcasts about their nature preserves. The nonprofit is based in the town of Hanover, and has nature preserves all around southeast Indiana.
The course also aims to help the students get to know southeast IN, so they’re taking field trips and hikes around the area while talking about politics, nature, and community. 🔹 #thatsthebeautyofHanover #HanoverCollege #HanoverAbroad
